Our Interfaith Q&A event this month will feature The Ageless Wisdom part 2 as presented by Lou Schwartz. His talk is titled, THE VALUE OF EFFECTIVE QUESTIONING AND ITS TRANSFORMING EFFECTS, which features a look inside the spiritual questioning process to more effectively integrate higher spirals of thought into everyday decision making. He’ll investigate different kinds of questions and different kinds of answers while briefly examining the organization of the mind and the brain.
Lou has been a long-time student of The Ageless Wisdom Teaching. After studying world religions for some time, his interest was looking to apply the key themes that underlie all religions in order to be more useful in serving others. The Ageless Wisdom Teaching is not a religion, per se: it is set of principles that have been collected from the wisdom of human history that are tied together to help direct the gradual transformation of the individual and humanity.
Our Interfaith Forum provides opportunities for religious leaders to share and answer questions about the tenets of their faith and their personal story. We seek to bridge the gap of misunderstanding about other religions; to contribute to a consciousness of peace and cooperation among people of faith.
The main point of this series is to get a clear understanding of what the different religions are really all about through a warm dialogue between the presenter and the audience. Our capacity for love can only be enhanced and realized when we are exposed to mind-sets and belief systems other than our own. We seek to bridge the gap of misunderstanding about other religions; to contribute to a consciousness of peace and cooperation among people of faith.
